Refund Policy
1. General policy
We work to ensure every translation meets professional standards. This policy explains when refunds are available for services purchased through translatormartin.
2. Before translation begins
A full refund is available if you cancel within 48 hours of payment and before the translation work has started. Contact us at hello@translatormartin.com with your order reference.
3. After translation is in progress
If translation has begun, a partial refund may be available proportional to the work not yet completed. We will provide a written summary of work completed to calculate the refund amount.
4. After delivery
If the delivered translation contains material errors that differ significantly from the source document and the agreed brief, we will correct these at no additional cost. This does not constitute grounds for a full refund once work has been delivered and accepted.
5. Certified translations
Certified (sworn) translations that have already been stamped and signed cannot be refunded, as the official seal constitutes an irreversible professional act. If errors are identified, we will provide a corrected certified translation.
6. How to request a refund
Email hello@translatormartin.com with your name, order reference and the reason for the request. We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
